The range of buildings in which we have installed systems covers almost 800 years of history! Battle Abbey School in Sussex (built on the site of William the Conqueror’s victory over King Harold in 1066) dates back to the thirteenth century Abbot’s House, with more ‘modern’ parts of the school dating from the sixteenth century. Such an important heritage site is obviously a challenge, and when we were contracted to fit a new boiler, many sensitive issues had to be considered.

In contrast, we have worked closely with building contractors on new builds, most recently during construction of a school’s theatre/dance studio, where a new, state-of-the-art facility was required. Working with the architect, we devised a custom designed heating and cooling system, addressing the problems of heat and ventilation generated by powerful lighting and enthusiastic audiences.
